Under the used car lemon law, if a vehicle has undergone repair for four times and still remains defective, then it is considered a lemon.



Filing a case under the used car lemon law requires proper documentation of all repairs that the vehicle has undergone since the time of your purchase. Also, the manufacturer should have been informed of such defects and given a chance to repair these defects. By doing this, you will have a strong case if you decide to take your problem to court by filing a suit.
